Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to wear a mask during my session?

At this time in accordance with DOH and State policies and mandates all clients and therapists are required to properly wear masks throughout the entirety of the session. We can provide a mask for you if you have forgotten yours.

What can I expect in my first session?

If this is your first time here, welcome! We are excited to pamper and care for you  and will take every effort to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. If you have not filled out the intake that was emailed to you, we will have you fill out a brief intake form. We will review any areas you would like to focus on, and any areas you would prefer avoided. For your comfort make sure you have practiced good personal hygiene, put hair up remove any jewelry that may get in the way or be uncomfortable during your session. Don't forget to bring your mask, for now they are mandatory for you and your Therapist. Your mask must be worn correctly the entirety of your session and while you are on the premises.

What if I am late for my appointment?

We value each client’s time and will try our best to keep a tight schedule. Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, depending on circumstances, we may need to modify your service or reschedule. Save time by filling out the intake paperwork that was emailed to you prior to your appointment.

Do I have to completely undress for my service?

Your comfort and safety are our top priority. It is up to you as to what to leave on or take off. Most massage and Spa treatments are easier to perform with the client is completely disrobed, but at ALL times during the treatment any area not being worked on will be  covered by a drape. Your therapist only undrapes the area being worked on, and will ask if there are any areas that you do not want worked on. All therapists are trained and professional and will never perform services out of their scope of therapeutic practice. We will work tirelessly to make your experience safe and enjoyable.

Do you bill insurance?

We do not bill insurance at this time. You are able to pay by invoice and you can then submit that to your insurance for reimbursement (this is in no way a guarantee of reimbursement, that will depend on your specific coverage). If you prefer to use insurance and want a recommendation please let me know, there are several wonderful local therapists who accept insurance.

Can I pay over the phone?

For your security and ours we do not accept payment over the phone. If you wish to pay for someone's Massage session we offer several options, you can purchase a gift card in person, purchase an electronic gift card here on our website, or you can contact us at cantrellsbodyshop@gmail.com or text (253)234-5272 and we can send you an invoice that you can pay on your phone, mobile device, or pc.
